Your account
Delete your account.
Two ways, both complete. Deletion is permanent and takes effect right away.
In the app
Settings, then Delete account
Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, enter your passcode, then tap Delete everything. If your membership is still running, cancel it first from the store's subscription page; deleting the account does not cancel a subscription, and the page tells you so before you continue.
Without the app
Email us from your number
If you no longer have the app, email support@amos.live from the phone number on the account, or tell us that number in the message. We confirm by text to that number, then delete the account the same way the app does, usually within two business days.
What is deleted, and what stays
- Your account, partners, calendar, notes, tests, uploaded documents, and reports are deleted.
- Clears you did with other people stay in their history, with the name and status you shared at the time. They cannot open your profile or reach you again.
- Alerts already sent to others stay, and contain nothing about you.
- The dates of clears you logged stay, with no place and no notes, and so do the dates and covered infections of your verified clean tests, with no documents. Exposure alerts are traced from those, and deleting them would change who gets alerted.
- You can make a new account with the same number later, starting from scratch.
The Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describe this in full, including how long anything is kept.
